Been using them for years and never had any issues. Very quick to tell you if there's something coming up that needs replacing or cleaning etc even if it's just a heads up so you know there's something that needs doing months from the time. Courtesy cars available and they are also flexible around drop off/pick up times.

I’ve gone to Brad Ward Motors on and off over the years, and they’ve always been great, honest, reliable mechanics. I haven’t always been in the financial position to service my car regularly and do what’s needed at the time, I often feel very anxious about the cost, but whenever I’ve taken my car in, I’ve felt reassured and well looked after. The team are understanding, never push unnecessary work, and seem genuinely trustworthy. I’m not entirely sure how their prices compare, but It’s hard to find that kind of honesty and integrity these days, definitely a business worth supporting!

If your exhaust has got louder or you can smell fumes, get it checked in Henderson, because a leaking exhaust is more than just a noise problem. Leaks can let dangerous carbon monoxide into the cabin, hurt your fuel economy, raise your emissions and fail your WOF, since any exhaust leak forward of the passenger compartment is an automatic fail under the NZTA criteria. At our Moselle Ave workshop we handle everything from patching a small leak to fabricating a complete system, using proper welding rather than a clamp and a prayer.
We work on all vehicle types, from small cars to vans and light trucks, for customers throughout West Auckland. If a section can be repaired rather than replaced, we will do that and save you money.

How it works
Drive in and we will put the vehicle on the hoist for a thorough look at the whole exhaust, from the manifold to the tailpipe, to pinpoint exactly where the problem is. You get a clear explanation of what needs doing and a quote. Most exhaust repairs are done the same day, and we road-test afterwards to make sure there are no leaks and the car sounds as it should. If we find something extra while it is up on the hoist, we will call you for approval before carrying on.
Quotes, no surprises
We give a no-obligation quote after inspecting the system, so you know exactly what is involved before we start. If a repair turns out to need more than first expected, for example a corroded section that crumbles once disturbed, we stop and call you to talk it through and get your approval. You will never get a surprise on the final bill.

We do not just slap a clamp on and hope it holds. Our workshop is set up for proper exhaust welding, so repairs are solid and last, and where a section can be mended rather than replaced we will do that to save you money. With 35+ years doing exhaust work in West Auckland and MTA approval, we work with both mild and stainless steel and can fabricate sections in-house when off-the-shelf parts are not available, which is handy for older or less common vehicles.
