Very quick to tell you if there's something coming up that needs replacing or cleaning etc even if it's just a heads up so you know there's something that needs doing months from the time. Courtesy cars available and they are also flexible around drop off/pick up times.

Just had my vehicle serviced and warranted. Also restored my very yellow headlights that another place had told me were to far gone. Even fixed a couple of smaller things that needed doing to save them getting worse over time. Fantastic job all round. Good price as well. Thank you.

I’ve gone to Brad Ward Motors on and off over the years, and they’ve always been great, honest, reliable mechanics. I haven’t always been in the financial position to service my car regularly and do what’s needed at the time, I often feel very anxious about the cost, but whenever I’ve taken my car in, I’ve felt reassured and well looked after. The team are understanding, never push unnecessary work, and seem genuinely trustworthy. I’m not entirely sure how their prices compare, but It’s hard to find that kind of honesty and integrity these days, definitely a business worth supporting!

If your manual car has started slipping, juddering, feeling heavy underfoot or getting harder to find gears, bring it to our Henderson workshop and we will check the clutch and tell you honestly what it needs. A clutch is a wear item, and any noticeable change in how the car drives is usually it telling you something. Caught early, a quick adjustment or a worn cable can be a simple fix; left too long, a slipping clutch can leave you stranded and sometimes take other parts with it.
At Moselle Ave we adjust, repair and replace clutches across all makes and models, from everyday hatchbacks to vans and light trucks, for customers throughout West Auckland. When a full replacement is needed, we inspect the flywheel at the same time so the new clutch has the best chance of a long life.

How it works
Tell us what you are noticing, whether that is slipping under load, a high or low bite point, judder when pulling away, or trouble selecting gears. We road-test the car and inspect the clutch system to pin down the cause. If it is a simple adjustment or cable, we sort it quickly; if the clutch is worn out, we quote a full replacement and check the flywheel at the same time. We only proceed once you have approved the work, and if we find the flywheel or anything else needs doing once the box is out, we call you first.
Quotes, no surprises
We give a no-obligation quote before any clutch work starts, and we explain what is involved so there are no surprises. Because the gearbox has to come out, we will tell you up front if we recommend doing the flywheel at the same time, so you are not paying for the same labour twice later on. If we find extra work once we are in there, we stop and call you for approval before continuing.
