Who Can Apply for WINZ Car Repair Assistance?
You may be eligible for financial help with car repairs from Work and Income if:
- You're currently receiving a benefit or have a Community Services Card
- You're at least 16 years old and a NZ citizen or permanent resident
- Your vehicle is essential for work, health appointments, or family needs
- You own the vehicle that needs repairs
